Veterinarian with 14 years of experience in the environmental sector (environmental consulting, ecology, and veterinary medicine), participating in environmental assessment projects (DIA, EIA) in the electrical, mining, and agro-industrial sectors. Experience includes baseline studies, wildlife monitoring, capture and relocation of slow-moving species, controlled disturbance, bird migration studies, data analysis, and report writing. Experience includes wildlife management and conservation for all four classes of terrestrial vertebrates (amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals) using census methodologies, point counts, fixed- or variable-width transects, live capture of animals using traps (Sherman, Tomahawk, mist nets, padded snares), camera traps, thermal binoculars, smoke cards, and searching for and identifying bird nests using a videoscope. Experience also includes personnel management and supervision, environmental education, technical consulting on environmentally related products, and urban pest control.
