Forestry Engineer from the University of Chile, with over 10 years of experience in forestry and environmental projects. She has participated in data collection and environmental assessments for baseline and environmental impact studies, collaborating with public and private organizations in sectors such as forestry, energy, infrastructure, mining, and natural resources. She has extensive knowledge and experience in the environmental analysis and assessment of investment projects within the framework of the Environmental Impact Assessment System (SEIA). She has worked on studies such as EIAs, DIAs, and Letters of Relevance, with a specialized focus on terrestrial flora and vegetation, and knowledge in the identification of aquatic flora (macrophytes). Throughout her professional career, she has worked as a specialist in the propagation of Polylepis tarapacana (a species listed as “Vulnerable”), developing and testing new methodologies to optimize germination and initial development processes under nursery conditions.
